Spesso noi guardiamo al teologo come a una figura distante. Lei invece lo definisce \u00abun mendicante che sa come ricevere i doni del tutto gratuiti del Signore\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p><p>Gli uomini sono stati definiti \u201cesseri in cerca di significato\u201d. Desideriamo soprattutto che le nostre vite abbiano un senso. V\u00e1clav Havel, il drammaturgo diventato presidente della Repubblica Ceca ha detto che la nostra speranza non \u00e8 pensare che tutto andr\u00e0 bene ma che le nostre esistenze hanno un significato. In questo senso lo studio rappresenta molto pi\u00f9 che acquisire qualifiche per poter trovare lavoro. Dalla fisica alla biologia, dalla letteratura alla poesia, dalla storia alla psicologia, tutto lo studio \u00e8 orientato a capire chi siamo e perch\u00e9 esistiamo. I cristiani credono che il senso della vita sia pienamente rivelato nella Parola fatta carne, Ges\u00f9 che ha trionfato sulla morte e sull\u2019odio. Ma comprendiamo Lui e il significato delle nostre vite con l\u2019aiuto di quanti abbiano la passione di capire, siano essi scienziati o registi o amanti della natura. Credo che chiunque voglia appassionatamente capire, sia sulla via di Dio. Alla fine, la nostra speranza \u00e8 che, come diceva San Paolo, \u00abconosceremo perfettamente come anche noi siamo conosciuti\u00bb (1 Corinzi 13,12).
