Se fino a qualche tempo fa era legata all\u2019immagine di qualcosa di tecnico, che richiedeva competenze specifiche sofisticate, oggi \u00e8 diventata un \u00abluogo\u00bb da frequentare per stare in contatto con gli amici che abitano lontano, per leggere le notizie, per comprare un libro o prenotare un viaggio, per condividere interessi e idee.<br \/>L\u2019avvento di internet \u00e8 stato, certo, una rivoluzione. Tuttavia \u00e8 una rivoluzione con salde radici nel passato: replica antiche forme di trasmissione del sapere e del vivere comune, ostenta nostalgie, d\u00e0 forma a desideri e valori antichi quanto l\u2019essere umano.<br \/>Pensando a internet occorre non solo immaginare le prospettive di futuro che offre, ma considerare anche i desideri e le attese che l\u2019uomo ha sempre avuto e alle quali prova a rispondere, cio\u00e8: connessione, relazione, comunicazione e conoscenza.
